Hi Jim:
Just wanted to give you a run down on some of the
things we've been doing this week.
- Have now finalized language on our 5 sub
agreements and will have them all sent out for signature by early next
week.
- I am half way through constructing our internal
project memo, which is released to all employees that will be working on the
project and includes scope, schedule, budget/hours tracking, and safety
information.
- We have utilized utility information at both the
WWTP (WRF) and BCF to perform a preliminary selection of test pit and boring
locations, which is being reviewed by our geotechs. We hope to have those
proposed locations to you early next week for operations staff review and
endorsement of utility clearance. We have abided by the setback on the privy
in location our boring site at the north end.
- We have started to have our architectural look at
building spacing needs, such that we might offer you a first suggestion on
space provisions for the office/lab/equipment buildings, based on currently
projected FTEs.
- We have started to assemble information on
membrane pre-qualification and RFP packages that we have utilized elsewhere,
in preparation for the membrane technology workshop on July 13 (2 weeks from
today). Assembling and putting together information designed to make the most
efficient time of our workshop for decision making will be a major goal for us
next week. I will try to get a preliminary agenda for the workshop out by the
end of next week. Have you and David discussed if you would like to organize
facility visits through the vendor or without yet?
- I am running your invoice spreadsheet request
through our project admin to create something as close to what you have
requested as we can.
- Tom has put together a list of information
requests, which I would like to formalize to you early next week. One of the
urgent requests will be furnishing title reports on the WWTP and BCF sites so
the surveyor can review latest property info to prepare for the field. I am
going to try to get some dates out of them next week.
We will be having an internal meeting Monday morning
to outline individual staff activities on the project for next week.
Hope you have a great weekend - call with any
questions or concerns.
Chris
