These revised dates sound fine Jim, I have already alerted the geotech and surveyors to a latter June/July schedule for their site explorations. We should also be thinking about July dates to have Val Frankel up for the membrane technology workshop, as I know we get into vacation season.

I'll spread the work on June 20th. Will be nice to see Katy there. Please let me know on the contingency, we will incorporate in with the other changes that I itemize in an email on Monday that includes the updated contract exhibits.

Chris

Chris & Dick –

Two items:

  1. I presented our proposed contract amendment authorization schedule to Len and the City Administrator (Allen), Allen’s schedule is very tight and would like to follow the revised schedule (pushed back two weeks):

June 11th - Present to Council Workshop (Dick – are you available for this Workshop)

June 18th - Council Approval and Authorization

June 20th – Design Phase Kick-off Meeting (please check your calendars and email back with confirmation)

  1. In an email, Chris presented the option of possibly increasing the City Management Contingency from 5% to 10% – this is a typical amount.  I am inclined to increase the City Management Contingency, but at a bit more modest 7%, please see below:

5%

7%

10%

KJ Design

 $ 1,721,397

 $1,721,397

 $1,721,397

City Mgmt Contingency

 $     86,070

 $   120,498

 $   172,140

Total

 $ 1,807,467

 $1,841,895

 $1,893,537

  1. The Task Order authorizing Katy Isaksen to start working on the WWTP Funding Program has been sighed by Len and she will be at the June 20th Kick-off meeting.

Please email back with your comments.  Thank you.
